Rachel Steinlicht
Rachel is an award
winning pianist and vocalist currently residing in the Pacific Northwest,
where she runs an independent teaching studio. She has been teaching private
piano and voice lessons since 2011 and has over 16 years of performing
experience.
Currently, Rachel holds a B.A. in Music from Thomas Edison State College and has been an active member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) since 2013. She actively seeks to stay current and further her professional development as a teacher by regularly attending music teacher association events. Rachel began piano lessons at an early age, and has studied with Peggy Swingle, Dianne Johnston, and Dr. Irene Bowling. She has has over 10 years of experience in classical voice, and has studied with Susan Trainer. Rachel has many years of experience in elite classical and jazz choirs and has participated in over 15 community musical theater productions and operas. In 2015, she performed with the Vocal Intensive Program at Masterworks Festival in the roles of Susanna (Marriage of Figaro), L'Infant (Le Cid), and The Dewfairy (Hansel and Gretel). |
